What is QUANTARA?

QUANTARA '26 is the flagship annual inter-college technical symposium organized by DEDOMENA, the Department Association of the Department of Computer Science with Data Science at Patrician College of Arts and Science, Chennai.

Built around the theme "Innovating Beyond Boundaries," the symposium brings together students from different institutions to compete in technical events, share ideas, develop practical skills, and celebrate innovation.

General Instructions

Please read and follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone

Rules & Guidelines for Participants

Welcome to QUANTARA'26! To ensure the event runs smoothly and fairly, all participants are requested to follow the guidelines below.

  1. All participants must report to the college campus by 8:30 AM.
  2. The technical events will commence promptly at 9:00 AM. Participants are expected to be present on time.
  3. After reporting to the campus, participants must complete registration at their respective event venue / registration desk.
  4. Registered participants will receive the refreshments provided by the organizing committee.
  5. Entry to the campus will be permitted only upon producing a valid College ID Card or Bonafide Certificate.
  6. Each participant may register for only one offline event.
  7. Participants must assemble at their respective event venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the event.
  8. Participants must follow the instructions given by the event coordinators and volunteers at all times.
  9. Maintain discipline, respect fellow participants, judges, and organizers, and avoid any form of misconduct.
  10. Any form of malpractice, cheating, plagiarism, or unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.
  11. Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
  12. Help maintain a clean and eco-friendly campus by using the designated waste bins.
  13. Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode during the events unless their use is specifically permitted.
  14. Any damage caused to college property will be the responsibility of the participant(s) involved.
  15. The decision of the judges and the organizing committee shall be final and binding.
  16. Failure to comply with the above rules may result in disqualification from the event.
